M.Y Sports Fiesta 2024, our first fundraising event of the year, has wrapped up successfully with $273,500 raised. The Tote Board Enhanced Fundraising Grant had doubled every dollar given, allowing us to deepen our impact.

Bike-a-thon at the Y 2024, 25th May 2024
With corporate partners such as Tribal Triathlon Singapore, KPMG and Delta Airlines joining hands to ride either the 20 km, 40 km or 100 km routes, we adopted a crowd fundraising system that got riders to garner funds before riding, allowing them to pedal with the support of their loved ones pushing them forward.
A record-breaking number of 80 participants stepped forward to make a difference with us this year. Even for non-cyclists such as our colleagues from MYMCA’s subsidiary M.Y World Preschool, they came together for a scenic 5.9km walk along Botanic Gardens led by the Board Members. With the interns cheering them on throughout, it was a time of bonding and showing support for our cause.
At the end of the ride/walk, every participant enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast buffet sponsored by New Ubin Seafood and was given a specially designed goodie bag with items generously sponsored by GK GermKiller and Prime Online.
M.Y World FunFam SportFest, 31st May 2024
MSF Singapore Families For Life, SportSG, M.Y World Preschool and MYMCA joined hands to celebrate National Family Festival 2024, which saw the laughter and smiles of nearly 4500 participants.
The children had an energetic morning of mass dances, Parent-Child Telematches and trying their hands (and legs) at various sports try-outs that included Football, Hockey, Basketball and Tennis. With the generosity of parents and enthusiasm of our children, the event, which was held at EXPO Hall 2, ended safely and cheerily. The children were treated to a goodie bag with items kindly sponsored by SATS, GK GermKiller and Prime Online.
Our Impact
After the fun-filled weeks of preparations and execution, we were filled with gratitude as we channeled the funds into our various outreach programmes, enabling us to serve close to 2240 beneficiaries, a number that has doubled over the past year.
