Metropolitan YMCA was honoured to be invited by the Singapore University of Social Sciences’ Institute for Adult Learning (SUSS IAL) to attend the Learning Enterprise Alliance (LEA) Awards & MOUs Ceremony 2024 on 29 August. The event was to celebrate growth, innovation, and learning within the LEA community and was held for esteemed industry leaders who are committed to and passionate about lifelong learning and workplace performance improvement.
On behalf of the Association, Ms Adelyn Ngion, Assistant General Manager of Continuing Education and Enrichment (CEE), accepted a plaque acknowledging our collaboration with SUSS IAL on LEA consultant projects from the Guest of Honour, Senior Minister of State & Deputy Secretary General (NTUC), Mr Desmond Tan.
Our CEE department recently received a grant from LEA, which is an initiative under the Centre for Workplace Learning and Performance (CWLP) to upskill the team’s curriculum development skills. This is part of MYMCA’s continual efforts to help staff acquire the precise skills and knowledge required for their respective roles. Significantly, this strategic investment fosters a culture of learning and continuous upskilling to stay relevant and contribute, impact and influence the communities we serve in.
