METROPOLITAN YMCA PRESENTS EMBASSIES OF THE WORLD

in celebration of United Nations International Day of Peace on 20 September 2017

MYMCA is committed to nurturing children and developing youths by engaging them in meaningful causes and activities, in pursuit of which, MYMCA, in collaboration with United Nations Global Compact Network Singapore (UN GCNS), has organised ‘Embassies of the World’

M.Y Peace Message Competition 2017 is launched in conjunction with the ‘Embassies of the World’ event in celebration of the United Nations International Day of Peace to be held on the 20th September 2017.

Winning entries of M.Y Peace Message Competition will be used as peace messages for the Peace Message Exchange on the morning of 20 Sep where Peace Envoys will be presenting embassies, high commissions and consulates across Singapore with Peace Messages and receiving one in return from the respective ambassadors.

We are creating bridges of peace, starting from the ground up and planting the seeds of peace right at our door, beginning from Singapore and on to the World. In support of Metropolitan YMCA community services and 80 other charities under the Community Chest, all outright donations in support of this event will enjoy 250% tax exemption.
